Yes I crocheted tons over the holidays....I was a woman with a hook in her hand and on a mission lol! Plus it is a good stress reliever....and I really needed that right now!
So one of the books I got was by Twinkie Chan....omgoodness! Her patterns ROCK! They are so original and super easy to make! Here is sasha sporting the first scarf a little cupcake number (sprinkles will be added soon)

Love the scarves :D yes Santa was very, very good to me this year - lots of crafty bits and bobs - I was so spoilt :P OH said don't get used to it - back to socks and choccy next year *g*a
